Marc Anthony Dances his Way into Celebrity Fashion with His Own Clothing Line
The highly successful singer, song writer and actor Marc Anthony has danced his way into the celebrity fashion scene by unveiling his new clothing line. According to a September 8, 2011 report by CNN, Anthony’s collection is exclusively through the national clothing chain Kohls. Anthony’s line will launch by the end of September and is expected to gain momentum heading into the holidays.
Marc attended a ribbon cutting ceremony at a Kohls in New Jersey to kick off the debut of his clothing line. The former husband of Jennifer Lopez, was originally going to do a clothing line with his ex before they split up in July. But now since their divorce, Anthony’s representatives have spun the story so to say that he was always going to do his own separate brand.
Despite the separate brands, Marc acknowledged that Lopez had given him some advice and suggestions for his clothing line. Additionally, Marc fully supports Jennifer’s clothing line and hopes to be as successful as hers. Lopez’s line will also debut by the end of September.
Anthony’s clothing line will consist of all sorts of clothing items like scarf’s, leather jackets, suits, sports coats, jeans and more. The prices are on the higher end of Kohls prices. Anthony is set to go on tour in September and plans on spreading the word of his new fashion line.
Marc Anthony is a two time Grammy winner, 3 time Latin Grammy winner and has sold over 30 million records. The 43 year old star shows no signs of slowing down even after his very public divorce.
